Diablo 2 Multires 1.13 Download
If you're like me, then you can't get Diablo 2 to work, no matter what you do. All of the solutions on the internet simply did not work for me. However, I've found a universal solution to fix pretty much all of your screen problems. This is for singleplayer only. This will get you banned on Battle.net. One common solution is to run the game through Glide, but I found that it lowers the quality and performance of the game, and fullscreen does not support it, so I do not recommend it.
The Problem:
Black screen with Direct3D, rainbow colors with DirectDraw, low performance and quality with Glide, low resolution
The Solution:
1. Download Diablo II LoD 1.12 (not 1.13). The installer from the Battle.net site will install this.
2. Run D2VidTst.exe (located in the Diablo II folder). Set video mode to DirectDraw [2D].
3. Download D2MultiRes. Extract and place the files in your Diablo II folder
4. Right click D2MultiResGame.exe and click Properties. Select the Compatibility tab and set the program to be in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Also Disable desktop composition and Run this program as an administrator.
5. Create a shortcut to D2MultiResGame.exe. Right click the shortcut and click Properties. In the target field, place a -w at the end of the line. For example, C:Diablo IID2MultiResGame.exe' -w.
6. Download WindowedBorderlessGaming and extract the files anywhere you wish (I recommend the Diablo II folder)
7. Run Diablo 2 through the shortcut you created. It should be in windowed mode.
8. Open WindowedBorderlessGaming.exe, click the program's tray icon and select Add window, press F3 in the game
9. In Diablo 2, enter a singleplayer game and through the ESC menu, select Options > Video Options > Resolution. Select the resolution of your screen.
And there you go, you got Diablo 2 running in fullscreen with absolutely 0 problems. Just as a warning though, it looks a bit different with a higher resolution. It may take some time getting use to, but it's absolutely worth it if it means you can get a running Diablo 2.
If you find any problems, please let me know.

Yeah I know the feeling. I was lost too. Just to make sure we are on
the same page, I wanted the following three things. -->
1. Higher resolutions
2. Larger character inventory
3. Infinite Stash Space
If this is what you want, go to this site. I used these instructions
to get it working. Note that you must use patch version 1.12a or the
resolution mod will not work. -->

Alternatively, go to this website for this mod instead. It is easier
to install and makes some interesting changes. It gives even MORE
character inventory space then the mod above. Also, each page of your
stash has more space in it. It also puts more slots on your mercenary
so he can equip more items. You can also use patches higher then
1.12a.
Note however, it has two disadvantages that I can see. You can't use
whatever resolution you want like you can with the above mod. And this
mod is not finished it. It does work however for the short time that I
tried it. -->

Whatever you decide, good luck.

Recently someone asked about getting multires working with Diablo II 1.13c, and I remembered that about 6 months ago I had spent a day and half figuring out how and was finally able to get it working. I searched around my HDD today and found the modified D2 1.13c multires install, so I retraced my steps and figured out how to do it from scratch.

Diablo 2 Multires 1.13 Download Torrent
- Diablo ® II: Lord of Destruction ® is being downloaded! If your download didn't start, try again.
- Diablo 2 v1.13c + HD-MultiRes + PlugY + Basemod + MercEquip + Extended Inventory Launch Diablo II.exe with -direct -txt -3dfx.
- Thus you need to have your Diablo 2 DVDs or get the installer from sources in the Downloads section and then upgrade it to the 1.13c patch. Install Diablo 2 to a place except Program Files folder. Program Files gives problems to some users. It is best to avoid it from the start. 2.Getting the Diablo 2 version we need.
- Diablo 2 - 1.13c multi resolution mod. Does this exist? Ive just come back from well, 7 years or somthing, and i played 1.12 with the multires mod in single player without realiseing that 1.13c had come out.
