BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey guys, I’m Dark BarBarian, today we’re making a new Town Hall 8 hybrid base and this time I tried doing something different on this base, I’m sure you must have heard of troll bases where you force opponents troops to go where you want them to go and you place all kinds of traps there and the opponent has no chance to revive his troops, yeah, that’s what is what we are doing on this base, but not only that we also have another feature on this base that you guys loved in my this base design, that is hard to lure centralized clan castle. In this base, I’ve tried mixing both these features and it seems to have performed pretty well for me and I’m sure you guys will find it useful too, I will discuss more about these features in the base analysis part of the video, I’ll see you guys after the speed build.

Let’s do the Base Analysis

Let’s start with the main feature of this base which makes it so good,
The clan castle is placed in the center of the base, which makes it really hard for the opponent to lure troops from your clan castle. The range of clan castle ends within the walls of the base which means the opponent has to break through at least one wall compartment to lure the clan castle troops, which honestly is quite hard for the opponent because people at lower town halls aren’t used to attacking bases in which clan castle is hard to lure.

I remember when I was a Town Hall 8 on my main account, I used to skip bases like this even if they had a lot of loot because luring clan castle troops, then killing them and then attacking the base is quite a pain in the neck especially when you’re using your farming troops. What usually happens is opponents think that they are in the range of clan castle but nothing came out of it, so they started deploying the rest of their armies this is where the magic happens, our cc troops absolutely destroy opponents’ army in no time.

Now you can understand how important it is to have defensive clan castle troops for this base because it gives you an edge over your opponents, so make sure you have something in your clan castle before you go offline, if your clan doesn’t donate you clan castle troops, then you should probably look for a new clan, and if you still can’t find a good donating clan, then you should replace the position of your clan castle with this dark elixir storage because there is no point in keeping the clan castle here if it doesn’t have troops that can defend.

The clan castle isn’t the only good thing about this base.

let’s move forward, this base can also be called a troll base, we have placed most of our traps near the town hall which makes this spot a highly dangerous for opponent’s troops when they pass through it there is a very high chance that the troops are going to die, some opponent’s try to bait the traps but in reality, they just end up wasting their time and troops, so try to attack from other sides but the pathing is done is this way no matter what you do they’ll always pass through this part of the base.

now coming to the defenses, it is quite hard to make a base that is balanced from all the sides at Townhall 8 because the defense buildings are odd in number, so you have to really plan out where to place the buildings so that no side is left weak to certain types of attacks.

Mortars are placed in such a way that they pretty much cover most of our defenses

Archer towers too are evenly placed throughout the base so that no side is left weak to air attacks.

wizard towers and bomb tower is placed nicely in the different compartments so that they don’t get taken out altogether.
we’ve placed two wizard towers in the core of the base to strengthen the core of the base, and one at the bottom to provide some guard to our town hall.

Air defenses are placed in the central compartments that make this base pretty good against air attacks.

cannons are placed evenly to provide a good balance to the base, so overall you can say the defenses are evenly distributed.

Now, coming to the storages, they are placed in different compartments, unlike the bases you usually see where most of the storages are placed in a single compartment. each storage is placed in a different compartment that means the opponent has to take out the whole base in order to get all the loot.

the dark elixir storage is well protected in the core compartment of the base, which means it’s pretty hard for opponents to get there, also the dark elixir drills are kept inside the wall so that definitely helps us in our dark elixir farming process.

let’s focus on the traps placements,

there is not much to say here about the traps placement as this is a troll base and we have to put most of our traps at one spot but I still made sure the other side is not left weak so I’ve some spring traps in there just in case someone starts attacking from the opposite side with hogs or giants.

Now, coming to the outer buildings

you can customize their placements according to your choice or place them just like I did, but make sure you don’t put the same type of collectors altogether, otherwise, the opponent will take all your loot in the collectors easily.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 8 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 8 you can get Maximum of 25 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 8 :-
